Dream Casting

A new Entertain to Earn (E2E) initiative. Time to put your assets to work.

What is DreamCasting?

Answer:
DreamCasting is Vertical Dream's first Entertain to Earn (E2E) initiative. It's an open casting call where holders of NFT assets can submit their favorite NFTs for a chance to be cast in our upcoming animated short film. If selected, we will license your NFT and pay you a licensing fee.

What are the submission dates?

Answer:
February 20, 2023 — March 6, 2023.

How will I know if my NFT was cast?

Answer:
An announcement will be made on Twitter. After the announcement, you can check the website to see if you've been selected.

How much will I earn if selected?

Answer:
There is a tiered payment structure, based on the size of each role:
  • Lead:1500 USDC
  • Supporting:750 USDC
  • Bit:400 USDC
  • Extra:150 USDC
Additionally, if your NFT is selected but not currently available as a 3D asset, we will model it for you, and provide you with the rigged 3D asset.

How do you define roles?

Answer:
Like this:
  • Lead:10 or more speaking lines
  • Supporting:5-9 speaking lines
  • Bit:1-4 speaking lines
  • Extra:0 speaking lines

How and when will I be paid if selected?

Answer:
USDC Funds will be transferred to the same wallet address that your selected NFT is stored on. Payments will be made on the same date as the world premiere of the animated short film.

When and where will the short film premier?

Answer:
No later than May 1, 2023, across all social media platforms.

Do I have to KYC?

Answer:
Not to submit. However, if selected, winners will be required to KYC (via Fractal ID) in order to enter into a licensing agreement with Vertical Dream. See Terms of Service for more details.

Will I be asked to perform any on-chain transactions during the submission process?

Answer:
No. All we need is a wallet connection so we know what address to use for looking up your NFTs. Singing a nonce is for identification and verification only.

What chains can I submit from?

Answer:
Ethereum and Polygon. (Solana will be integrated into future DreamCasting sessions. Stay tuned).

How many characters can I submit?

Answer:
Up to five. Technically our submission form won't prevent you from submitting more. However, all submissions are tied to your Twitter username; so we'll only look at the first five submissions of each username.
